Within each and every one of us is an untouched well of
creative energy yearning to be expressed.

I'm here to help.

You are energized, committed and hungry for this change in your career and lifestyle. I can walk you down a path of accountability, setting up goal tiers with bite-sized achievable exercises to get you closer to where you want to be in a realistic timeline. I can help you make connections, put together a web portfolio or research the job market in your particular region. Private PROP styling lessons
online through Zoom from my studio to yours

I’m excited to bring The Prop Styling Experience right to your home or workplace via Zoom. Whether you are new to styling or looking for a tune-up, my warm and supportive environment offered at my in-person workshops is still there. We will meet online weekly or monthly for 90-minutes of live stream instruction, with screen sharing, discussion, and Q&A. Hands-on exercises will be completed at home and placed in a private dropbox folder.

I will help you find greater clarity of purpose, what you really want to do within the broad category of “prop styling”. We will focus on the following topics as they relate to your needs:

  • Themes and Styles

  • Composition Basics

  • Creative Brainstorming

  • Personal Brand Moodboards

  • Prop Styling business logistics and getting your foot in the door

  • Styling for and beyond Instagram

  • Resources for creating and finding Props and Sets

  • Working through an advanced level personal or business project

Each session will focus on producing still life projects that you will style and shoot at home with personal critiques and feedback. This is perfect for beginner stylists, Instagrammers, photographers, chefs, floral designers and content creators looking to supplement their skills, and makers and vintage sellers who want to take their product photography to the next level. Enrollment is open to students all over the country and the world who learn best in a 1:1 setting. This is not a pre-taped, pre-packaged course. I take the time to get to know each student and their needs and goals with an in-depth intake process.

“I had the pleasure of working with Robin over the last year or so and it was a revelation. I’d become pretty focused on shooting to sell in my Etsy shop so stepping outside that role and shooting things for fun was a refreshing change of pace. Having Robin’s experienced idea and expert advice really pushed me to look at the process in a new light”
—Carrie Schindler Schwab, Copper and Tin, Milwaukee Wisconsin

“I was feeling so stuck in my creative journey and Robin did more than "unstuck" me, she helped me soar, even though we lived in different continents and time zones! My work started getting noticed immediately
and I landed my first client shortly after. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher.”
—Joy Wong, stylist, Singapore
